Mielno is one of the most popular resorts in Poland. Situated between the Baltic Sea
and Jamno Lake, the town attracts with its beautiful sandy beach, pine forests, cycling routes, and excellent conditions for water sports. The clean, iodine-rich air creates an ideal climate for health and relaxation in Mielno.

In the summer season, numerous pubs, bars, restaurants, and discos make Mielno the entertainment center of the Central Coast.

Tourist attractions in Mielno and the surrounding area:

– The Seaside Promenade, stretching along the coast, is perfect for walks and also features a viewing terrace that offers a wonderful vantage point.

– The Walrus Monument, located at the beach entrance from Kościuszko Street, is a symbol of the International Walrus Gatherings held annually in mid-February. In 2015, a new Guinness World Record was set here for the number of people who bathed together in the cold Baltic waters.

– The Deer Monument, is the most characteristic point in Mielno, where tourists love to take photos.

– The Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord, located on Kościelna Street, houses a baroque pulpit from the 18th century, a neo-Gothic baptismal font, and stained glass windows.

– The Linden Alley consists of over 150-year-old linden trees growing along the road between Mielno and Mielenko.

– The fishing harbor in Unieście is a place where you can observe fishing boats and fishermen at work, as well as taste fresh fish served in local fry shops. Near the harbor, there is a pier offering a beautiful view of the sunset.

– The lighthouse in Gąski – built at the end of the 19th century, is about 50 meters high. There are 190 steps leading to its top, from where you can admire the panorama of the surrounding towns.

Koszalin – a city located 12 km from Mielno. It is a major cultural center in the region,
which includes:

– cinemas (Kryterium, Multikino),

– museums (City Museum, Jamno Open-Air Museum, Water Museum, and others),

– theaters (Baltic Drama Theatre named after Juliusz Słowacki, Theatre of Proposals Dialog),

– philharmonic,

– Aquapark – Koszalin Water Park,

– amphitheater.

Every year, national and international festivals and events are held in Koszalin, including: the “Young and Film” Film Festival, the Polish Choirs Festival, the Summer Cabaret Festival, and the Hanza Jazz Festival.
